Millet chapati is a wholesome North Indian flatbread made using millet flour instead of wheat, making it naturally gluten-free and nutritious. It is soft, simple to prepare, and pairs well with dals, curries, or sabzi.
3 ingredients
In a bowl, mix millet flour and salt thoroughly.
Slowly add water and knead to form a smooth, soft dough.
Let the dough rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
Divide dough into a ball and flatten slightly.
Dust with millet flour and gently roll into a thin round chapati.
Heat a tawa (flat pan) on medium flame. Place the rolled chapati on it.
Cook for about 1 minute, flip, and cook the other side for another minute until both sides have light brown spots.
